Next-generation cloud-based platform offers customers a single point of contact for all service and support

With extensive investments in R&D, Glaston is heading towards automated processes and real-time customer support. Digital solutions for improved performance is a key theme for Glaston at Glasstec international glass industry trade fair. During the exhibition, Glaston will, among other services, introduce its new Support Room platform.

Glaston’s Support Room is a next-generation cloud-based customer support platform, developed to give customers a single point of contact to Glaston for all service and support. “When the machine is connected to Glaston Insight ecosystem, it allows the customers to have a view of the overall production data and actually measure and analyze the daily use and productivity. Designed to improve business performance, Glaston Support Room platform allows customers to get quick response and easy handling of service requests, fault detection and troubleshooting,” says Jari Pohjolainen, Director of Maintenance Services at Glaston.

Based on cloud-based technology, Glaston Support Room enables efficient remote support for the glass processing equipment. Glaston’s experts can help handle incidents, solve problems and assist with fault notification. Being concentrated all in one place online, tech support becomes seamless and transparent.

Glaston has open-mindedly utilized new technology and the opportunities presented by digitalization to develop products and make them better, more efficient and more reliable. Visitors at the Düsseldorf show have had the chance to experience first-hand the benefits and opportunities of digitalization in Glaston’s Support Room for next-generation customer support. “During the trade fair we have clearly experienced that our customers are very interested in the opportunities that digitalization can bring. They have showed great interest in our Support Room platform. Especially the comprehensive information being online and well visualized has increased the interest”, says SVP Services, Artturi Mäki.
