Monvera Glass Décor, a provider of glass decoration services to the wine, spirits, beverage and food industry is expanding production capacity and enhancing existing screen printing capabilities. Over the last year the new ownership and management team has focused on improving and expanding service offerings. Clients can now screen print up to six colors at a time, giving them more flexible options with their label design. This capability combined with the recent move to a 25,000 square foot facility doubles Monvera’s existing production capacity and supports a faster, more efficient production with shorter lead times for large case runs.
Sadegh Ghorban, Monvera’s VP of Operations says, “We are extremely excited about the potential for growth in this industry. Screen printing offers a wide range of flexible design options that help create a beautiful high-end look for our clients’ bottles. The bottles literally pop off the shelf! The design options for screen printing are endless and it offers a huge amount of creativity to graphic designers.”
To help clients make the switch from paper labels, Monvera offers a complimentary design consultation where their art team takes an existing paper label and modifies it so that it can be screen printed. The impact can be dramatic. Using Italian screen printing equipment up to 6 colors can be printed at one time and minimum runs start at 50 cases. Ceramic inks are used for extreme label durability, but precious metal inks are also available and are extremely popular.
Monvera is seeing renewed interest from wineries in screen printing all their wines including their value offerings. Sadegh says, “Our customers are facing increasing competition for shelf space at all product price points and are looking for new packaging ideas.” Monvera plans to continue its investment in capacity and capability in lock-step with demand growth.
