The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has announced the first of a series of educational webinars for the glass and glazing industry. The webinar, titled "Thermal and Energy Modeling of Two Fenestration Systems in Hot and Cold Climates," will focus on obtaining and maintaining long-term energy savings and sustainability. The presentation was written by Lawrence D. Carbary and Valerie Hayez of Dow Corning Corporation. Carbary will be the presenter during the webinar.
"We are happy and excited to kick off our webinar series with such a high profile presentation," said Brian Pitman, director of marketing and communications for GANA. "Two of the most important issues in our industry today are being addressed with this webinar: the need to continually develop and promote energy efficient technologies in the construction field, as well as the need to provide education to our industry as inexpensively as possible during the current economic downturn. GANA feels very fortunate to be able to address these needs and more for our members and the industry as a whole."
The webinar will take place at 12 p.m. EST on June 5 and is free for all registrants.
