Organic Meadow, considered one of Canada's bestselling organic milk company, recently announced the introduction of a new glass bottle called Traditions in honour of the company's 20th anniversary this year.
"Naturally, we're highlighting Traditions launch (for) our 20th birthday celebrations, but certainly from a marketing point of view, we are also responding to our customers' requests for glass containers," said Steve Cavell, cheif executive of Organic Meadow Inc. "Mind you, to be honest, I personally happen to think our milk tastes even better out of our new glass bottles!"
The 946 ml re-usable glass bottles will be available in skim, one per cent, two per cent, 3.8 per cent, plus two per cent chocolate as well as non-homogenized. Shoppers can pick up the new/old packaging concept at an ever-growing number of health food, specialty and grocery stores across Ontario. Organic Meadow is Canada's leading organic dairy brand with more than 60 products now available nationwide.
The launch of the new glass bottle in Ontario is yet another highlight of Organic Meadow's 20th anniversary celebrations in 2009.
From urban centres such as Toronto, Ottawa and London to rural locations such as Erin, Durham and St. Thomas, Organic Meadow's 20th anniversary tour is travelling across Ontario once a month (or more) and will stop at various community events ranging from conferences to local fairs. The company is also sponsoring appearances by popular Canadian singer-songwriter Murray McLauchlan at all OM anniversary events throughout the year.
Organic Meadow is a co-operative owned by more than 100 Ontario farmers. It shares profits with members and supports rural economies in Ontario.
