China Glass Composite Index on June 6, 2019

(China Glass Network) On 6th June, 2019 China glass composite index reaches to 1,068.66 points and decreases 0.98 point from last week and 93.34 points less than last year. China glass price index stands at 1,088.29 points and it drops 1.22 points from last week and has 101.96 points fewer year on year basis. China glass confidence index arrives at 990.12 points, descending 0.05 point compared on week over week basis, while 58.87 points falling from last year.

Glass spot market tends to be normal since the beginning of June, which some manufacturers focus on pushing deliveries and receiving payments. Production lines keep launching to release capacity, which increases the conflict between supplying and demanding. Due to busy farming season in Northern China and rainy season in Southern China, it makes difficult for glass storage and conservation. Low operating ratio of processing companies in some regions and capital limitation from downstream real-estate industry lead to slow purchasing.
