A recent visit to the new Dow inspiration studio in Seneffe, Belgium, allowed colleagues from Press Glass S.A. to experience first-hand, an array of inspiring products and future developments for the delivery of sustainable, buildable solutions for high performance building. The visit comes on the back of a recent joint promotion of 3D GLASS technology from Press Glass S.A. and crystal clear silicone from Dow.
3D GLASS and DOWSIL™ Transparent Structural Silicone Adhesive (TSSA) offers architects almost unlimited design freedom to form point fixed crystal clear facades with distinct, curvilinear shapes for complex, geometrically varied glass elements, which are invisibly retained.
A successful collaboration
“The exhibits and environment of the new Dow inspiration studio is designed to encourage and stimulate cross-fertilization of ideas and design experience for future sustainable buildings and wellness of building occupants,” said Damian Froklage, commercial manager for High Performance Building at Dow. “The visit of Press Glass and our innovation session produced some exciting new ideas and created a solid basis for our future co-operation.”
“We have worked alongside Dow for many years and their DOWSIL™ Transparent Structural Silicone Adhesive has been used on several of our projects, including the glass façade of our production facility in Croatia’ stated Kazimierz Marciniak, marketing director of Press Glass S.A. ‘We highly appreciate the invitation to visit the Dow inspirationstudio and found the discussions between our experts of significant value, which we hope will be realized in future projects.”
