Insight Data, the industry’s leading data specialists are celebrating the success of The Glazing Summit 2019. Following last year’s inaugural event, The Glazing Summit made a triumphant return, as 350 business owners and directors descended on Edgbaston Stadium to discuss the burning issues affecting the industry. Attendees from across the fenestration industry were hit for six by an expert panel of speakers discussing topics such as sustainability and recycling, Brexit, fire regulations, accreditations and smart technology. The event, which was organised by Insight Data and sister company Purplex Marketing, put delegates at the heart of debate, with questions and discussion points asked through new interactive app Slido. Keynote speakers included Adrian Webster, one of Britain’s leading speakers on business and customer service, and RBS Bank Director, Neil Parker, a renowned UK economist and market strategist. The event also included keynotes from Jade Greenhow, Operations Director at Insight Data and Andrew Scott, CEO of The Ascot Group. While Andrew gave delegates a marketing masterclass, Jade shared the very latest findings and market intelligence from Insight Data. The event was rounded off with the Leaders Dinner, which saw 200 VIPs enjoy an evening of fine dining and networking, with after-dinner speaker and Olympic gold medallist Roger Black MBE. With such a positive response to The Glazing Summit from delegates, it was announced that it will become an annual event, with preparations for 2020 already underway. Jade Greenhow comments: “After months of planning and preparation, The Glazing Summit was a huge success as a capacity crowd of industry leaders, business owners and CEOs debated and discussed the real hot topics affecting the industry. “The success of the Glazing Summit clearly demonstrates the demand among CEOs and business leaders for a platform to come together, share ideas and discuss important issues.
