Wang Zhuqing said, recently, the majority of residences in the city use ordinary white glass that can’t save energy, while only less than 10% use Low-E glass.
According to profession’s introduction, Low-E glass can save 60% ~ 70% of the energy ordinary white glass will use one year. if a house facing west will use 135 kWh one year by using ordinary white glass, then by using Low-E glass the same house only needs 54 kWh, saving 81 kWh.
