Horn Glass Industries has recently added a fully automatic, double-sided mitre band saw in two-column design in its production facility. This state-of-the-art innovation is intended to support HORN® employees in the sector of steel construction.
The technical refinements include the infinitely variable, automatic mitre range from 30° left to 30° right as well as hydraulic saw band tensioning. Together with the continuous roller conveyor, for simplified processing and operation for steel constructors, the saw works on over 12m length to cut steel for innovative HORN® products.
At the same time, of course, efficiency and environmental protection are also of great importance to us, and so we decided on a plant, which can process as large a part as possible in order to minimise remnants.
With this, HORN® Glass Industries AG has taken a further step towards Industry 4,0.
