Solar Innovations’ Green Efforts Continue With New Solar Panel Installation

In October, Solar Innovations began phase three of its solar panel installation project by preparing to add 1,600 new panels to the 2,000-plus panels already on the roof of its primary office and manufacturing building in Pine Grove, Pa. As with the first two phases of the project, it was paramount that these panels be safely mounted without compromising the roof’s structural integrity. To ensure this, Paradise Energy Solutions installed over 3,000 SI102 Universal Clamps onto the standing seam metal roof to secure 10,000 feet of rails.

After four weeks, Solar Innovations president Greg Header ceremoniously installed the last panel of this project. With over 3,600 solar panels now on its roof, the company will produce approximately one megawatt of energy, helping it achieve its goal of net-zero energy consumption for its main office and manufacturing facility.
