OmniDecor presents a new palette of eco-friendly lacquered colors and new textures engraved on glass.

Sensory experience, direct and personal, is essential to understand the nature and essence of OmniDecor’s work. Glass – decorated, engraved, textured, colored – that must be lightly touchedgraspedcaressed to fully understand the contribution they can offer to the creativity of design and the invention of spaces and surfaces. Glass as a docile, flexible, and extremely reliable tool at the service of the project.

For Fuorisalone, the company presents the developments of two product families: DecorOpal Color Collection and DecorIdea Design. The first, a collection of lacquered glass, is enriched with a new palette of pastel colors. The colors are made with organic and eco-friendly paints, the result of an innovative and sustainable production technology.

DecorIdea Design is a collection of engraved glass in which the surface engraving gives the glass a striking three-dimensionality. Engraved and deep striped decorations carved into the glass surface create unconventional tactile surfaces.

OmniDecor also renovates its OmniDecor.lab showroom in Via Cerva in Milan, in the Durini Design District.

The project for the spatial and visual reorganization of the showroom, entrusted to Lidia Covello, aims to transform a visit into a meeting that encourages the exchange of experiences, a technical consultancy on the morphological and structural characteristics of glass and its essentially infinite variations. And most importantly, it lets you touch the surfaces, grasping the pleasantness and uniqueness of the sensations they provide. Because glass needs to be touched, looked at, inhabited, caressed like a dress of light.

The exhibition includes the artist’s multiples made with OmniDecor glass by Lidia Covello. Small sculptures, a tribute to the art of the twentieth century, a homage to the rigorous yet fantastic creativity of masters such as Piet Mondrian and László Moholy-Nagy.
