Stara Glass wins the contract for High Efficiency Air Staging

This week a glass manufacturing world leader awarded Stara Glass the contract for the design, supply and commissioning of a High Efficiency Air Staging (HEAS), a patented technology developed internally by the company’s R and D team.

The HEAS is specifically designed for each furnace with a standardized engineering process and is CFD-optimized for every installation.

Through a primary technique, it can reduce the generation of nitric oxide of an end port furnace up to 30 percent, without impact to conduction and consumption.

This is Stara Glass’ tenth HEAS furnace in Europe, and the company is proud of this success and is committed to assist its clients in achieving their sustainability and green targets.
