The UN’s International Year of Glass officially started with an opening ceremony at the UN headquarters in Switzerland. This marks the start of a year of activities designed to support the coming together of the glass industry to tackle important issues.
It also holds another important milestone for SORG – the company celebrates 150 years since their foundation. For over a century SORG has supported glass-makers with the latest technologies in glass melting and conditioning, furnace efficiency and sustainable melting.
Five generations later, the family business still believes in creating partnerships that last, built on enduring respect and trust, and is committed to the same approach for the next 150 years.
