Groupe Pochet has announced the electrification of a furnace dedicated to luxury bottles and jars in 2024.
Located in the Pochet du Courval – Guimerville plant, in France, this furnace is part of the Groupe Pochet’s global Decarbonation plan, which aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 50 percent by 2033.
This project, supported by the Group’s private family shareholders, represents a major investment and will be operational by the end of 2024.
“This electric furnace will be the very first French furnace dedicated to luxury bottles. It will enable us to drastically reduce our CO2 emissions by producing a largely carbon-free glass that will guarantee the Beauty of tomorrow,” said Benoit Marszalek, Director of Operations at Pochet du Courval.
