The Norwegian architects LPO strive to create good, holistic solutions for users and society, with sustainability and innovation at the forefront.
In Stavanger, Norway, they have transformed an old industrial site into a vibrant and multifunctional urban and residential area, including the Røa Torg shopping centre.
In addition to a café and various boutiques, a square in front of the building with a water sculpture and supporting program offers citizens a place to meet. As a background, the façade of the glass pavilion made of Glas Trösch‘s OKATECH insulating glass with copper interlayer sets special visual accents. In the immediate vicinity of the red brick building from the 1970s, the glass façade with copper inlay picks up the colour of the surroundings excellently and ensures a harmonious overall picture.
