AGC Glass Europe: A new test, a new success

The certification portfolio of the Pyrobel-T range is enriched with a new successful test of the Pyrobel-T EW30-16 in a wooden frame.

EW-30 = indicates that the glass and the frame will act at least during 30 minutes as a barrier to flames and hot gases and limit the level of heat transfer through it.

During this process the transparent interlayer of the glass becomes an opaque protective screen. Glass is just one part of the fixed partition that should resist fire, therefore fire-resistance tests are done with the whole building element.
