Glassman USA: first conference speakers confirmed

Speakers at a forthcoming conference will discuss decarbonisation, hydrogen and renewable glassmaking.

The Glassman USA event takes place in Cleveland, USA on June 6 and 7 and the first speakers have confirmed their presence.

Among those are German furnace technology company Horn Glass Industries.

Mathias Kunz, its Sales Director America and marketing manager will provide a summary of the latest innovations in the last view years to make glass melting more energy efficient and more convenient for the industry.

Elsewhere Novohydrogen CEO Matt McMonagle will discuss how hydrogen can decarbonise industry as well as an update on the US hydrogen market

Energy group Convergent's SVP of Business Development, Toby Tiktinsky, will discuss how energy storage can reduce carbvn emissions and provide economic benefits at the same time.

Refractory organisation Rath will discuss Hot Gas Filtration in Glass lndustry: A Holistic Approach to Emission Control and Heat Recovery with a presentation by Manfred Salinger.

More speakers will be announced shortly.

The trade show and conference takes place at the Huntingdon Convention Center of Cleveland.

With more than 60 exhibiting companies focused on the hot and cold ends of a glass production facility, the show brings together all those involved in the process of glass manufacturing.
