All set for GlassTrend October

The second GlassTrend of 2023 will take place on October 17^th and 18^th at IntenCity, Schneider Electric’s flagship building located in Grenoble, France.

GlassTrend will deliver its second in-person event of the year in partnership with Schneider Electric.

The event follows on from the conference that took place earlier this year, with the future-oriented theme of smart sustainable glass manufacturing.

The event will provide the opportunity to discuss various aspects of smart manufacturing including:

• sustainable fuels

• low-carbon raw materials

• sensors

• data analytics/digitisation

On the theme, GlassTrend said: “Decarbonisation is one of the key challenges of the glass industry in the transition to sustainable glass manufacturing. Next to the development and implementation of sustainable technologies, smart sensors, and process control are required to optimise the use of these technologies in view of CO₂ footprint and energy efficiency.”
