Egypt’s Kandil Glass has acquired compatriot Cleopatra Glass Factory.
Kandil Glass was founded in 2005 and based in the 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt and makes tableware and container glass.
It signed an acquisition agreement with tableware manufacturer Cleopatra Glass Factory to increase daily production from 410 to 500 tons/ day.

Kandil said the agreement will help it achieve its strategic goal of market leadership and production expansion.
It said: “In Kandil, we believe that our crew of talented employees is the most significant asset we can rely on.
“With this agreement, we are reinforcing the manpower in Kandil with more than 340 personnel.
“The acquisition of Cleopatra is a valuable addition to our tableware products as Cleopatra has significant experience in this field.”
Kandil makes glass which is supplied to the domestic sector, Middle East, Asia and Europe.
