Celsian upgrades its GTM-X glass simulation software

CelSian has released a new version of it’s Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software called GTM-X.

This simulation software accurately predicts production yield and quality, addressing industry needs like simulations on energy consumption and product quality.

GTM-X calculates batch blanket behaviour, redox chemistry, and bubble predictions, making it a standout software for furnace design and solving production quality issues.

The latest update introduces detailed modeling of batch reaction gases from the batch blanket into the combustion space, providing insights into the flow- and temperature fields in the combustion space above the batch blanket and flue gas composition.

Next to that, setting up a cold-top furnace model is now more intuitive, with a shorter setup time.
