The Mid-Atlantic Glass Association held the 37th edition of its Glass Expo on April 17, 2024, at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, MD. The event welcomed over 1,600 attendees with 118 exhibitors, including 17 new exhibitors, and 16 new members. This was a “record year” according to Mid-Atlantic Glass Association Board President Bill Paolucci. Fourteen exhibiting companies were waitlisted for the event, Paolucci said. In-person interaction remains critical for the market, he noted. “It’s exciting to meet people in person.” NGA was pleased to exhibit at the event, speaking with many attendees about all NGA has to offer. Several exhibitors showcased bird-friendly solutions, noting bird-friendly legislation is not limited to major metropolitan areas. Exhibitors also showcased security and protective glazing options, citing expanding legislation. Customers are also demanding more types of protective glazing, and want it to do more, according to exhibitors.
