FEVE and Vetropack: How to get people to recycle more glass

While glass collection rates are higher than ever as a European average – 80.2 percent as of 2022 – reaching the target of 

90 percent collection of glass packaging by 2030 requires targeted measures across the regions with lower collection rates.

FEVE, the European Container Glass Federation, and Vetropack Group partnered with the local EPR scheme in Koprivnica, 

Croatia, to find out what’s behind lower recycling rates and what could help. Results of the 2024 pilot project 

will be used as a blueprint to improve glass collection across Europe.
