National Glass Association
NGA was well-represented at glasstec 2025, the international trade show that took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, through Oct. 25. This year's glasstec welcomed 1,250 exhibitors from 52 countries. NGA staff, including Nicole Harris, president & CEO; Urmilla Sowell, vice president, advocacy & technical services; Katy Devlin, content director and editor-in-chief of Glass Magazine; and Emily Thompson, publisher of Glass Magazine & Window + Door and director of fenestration business development, attended the event to present the benefits of NGA membership and answer questions about the U.S. glass and glazing industry. The trade show presented the complete spectrum of glass production, glass processing and glass products across the value chain—from manufacturing to innovative applications and technologies. Visitors saw end-to-end solutions for all segments of the glass industry, from machinery from leading suppliers with a focus on automation, technology and efficiency, to next-generation performance glass products, designed to meet changing market demands.
