Held from November 27 to 29 at the Uz Expo Centre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the 1st edition of UzGlass marked a significant milestone as the first-ever glass exhibition in Central Asia.
With 92 exhibitors from countries like Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, France, Russia, China, Iran, Uzbekistan and more, the fair brought together a diverse range of international companies showcasing innovations in glass products, technology and solutions.
The event attracted over 1,300 professional visitors from across Central Asia and beyond, including countries such as Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Tajikistan, China, Russia, Italy, Iran, India, Hungary, Belarus, South Korea and many others.
Exhibitors were satisfied with this edition of UzGlass. Given that it was the inaugural event, it’s impressive that the fair exceeded expectations, not just in terms of expo scale but also the quality of visitors. The fact that exhibitors had the opportunity to connect with highly professional buyers from countries like Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia and others speaks volumes about the event’s success in attracting the right audience. Currently in Central Asia the glass market is growing with several new plant projects.
In the next edition Y T International Enterprise, organizer of the fair, plan to expand the exhibition area in order to have an even greater show in 2025.
The 2nd edition of UzGlass will be held from November 26 to 28, 2025, at Uz Expo Centre again. The fair will open together with Doors Windows & Aluminum Uzbekistan.
