Ciner selects Lahti batch plant for Belgium facility

Ciner Glass has selected Lahti Glass Technology (LGT) to supply the batch plant for its glass facility in Lommel, Belgium.

Construction is currently underway for the container glass plant in Lommel.

LGT will supply the batch plant and cullet systems for the plant.

Over €600 million will be invested in the facility, making it one of the biggest foreign investments in Belgium in the last ten years.

The investment will also create approximately 500 new jobs in the region.
