CMO: Price of panel is reasonable and stable currently

It is reported that the general manager of CMO said that the price of LCD panel had reached the suitable level of the market. In September, the price will maintain present level or raise a little.

Wang Zhichao, the general manager of CMO said that the recent rising price gave the manufacturers much pressure. As the rising rate slowed down, the manufactures could control the production cost better so as to obtain higher profits.

In order to catch up with the domestic holiday promotions in National Day, many Taiwan manufacturers made efforts to increase production. Analysts in the industry said the price of panel in Q4 would slow down. But Mr. Wang said that the inventory panel was just ok and the panel market would still be warmer.

He added, with the tight supply of glass panel, CMO was optimistic about the LCD panel market in Q4. with the recovery of global economy, the demand of panel will rise stably. By 2010, there won’t be an oversupply situation.
