"Solar energy generation" is the subject of a special show that is premiering at GLASSPEX INDIA, International Exhibition for Glass – Production-Processing-Products, which is being held in New Delhi from 2 to 4 December 2009. Nine companies from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands will present innovative solar modules, glass and solar energy systems, solar collectors and photovoltaic cells in a display of trendsetting developments and applications. The special show supplements the range of products and services supplied by the more than 100 exhibitors that are participating in the first edition of GLASSPEX INDIA.
With this special show, the organiser of GLASSPEX INDIA – Messe Düsseldorf – is continuing implementation of its glass technology live concept, which has been an additional feature at glasstec Düsseldorf, for many years now the most important trade fair in the world of glass. It is where the latest product developments, manufacturing processes, technologies, research findings and innovative new architecture projects are presented every two years. The special glass technology live show is highly appreciated by architects, building engineers, planners and designers in particular, since it is a source of ideas and specific help – apart from giving an insight into the future of glass.
This is the objective which glass technology live goes India aims to achieve at its premiere. The show will make a visit to GLASSPEX INDIA even more worthwhile. On one hand, experts from different industries – machine manufacturing, glass (basic glass, processed and finished glass or glass suppliers), construction, window and façade engineering, car manufacturing and solar engineering – can expect to be given an insight into the entire value-added chain. Companies from 16 countries are presenting their products and services – from glass manufacturing to finishing and including glass applications. On the other hand, the side events parallel to the trade fair, such as the special show and the 8th conference organised by the All India Glass Manufacturers' Federation (AIGMF – the central association of the Indian glass industry), will be providing the industry with further information.
GLASSPEX INDIA will take place in Halls 12 and 12a of the Pragati Maidan fairgrounds in New Delhi from 2 to 4 December 2009 and is being organised by Messe Düsseldorf and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf India. Numerous international trade associations from the industry, such as AIGMF, iGLASS, CREDAI and SESI, as well as VDMA – which is also backing the joint German stand as a partner association - are involved in the event.
