The production of Ultra-thin Electronic Glass begin to take shape in Henan Province

Since Luoyang Float Glass Group successfully applied the R&D project of Ultra-thin electronic substrate glass, float glass production equipment and processes (the total investment of this project reached more than 1600 million), Luoyang Glass further developed and improved Ultra-thin float glass process technology and equipment which is used in 0.55 to 0.7mm LCD, fully realizing the aim to replace the imported products.

Ultra-thin electronic substrate glass is mainly used in LCD monitors, mobile phone screen and other instrument dial products whose production technology has long been a monopoly by foreign companies. This product developed and researched by Luoyang Float Glass Group broke through the blockade of foreign technology, achieving localization of the product.

 Director of Group's Technology Center, Guo Wei said, "Thin Molding Technology has been applied to our first two ultra-thin float glass production line. Meanwhile, 0.5mm and 0.7mm products have been produced out."

"At the price, our price is one third of the imported product. Our productivity  has taken up 70% of the national share. Chinese share has taken up 90% shares in global market." Guo added.

Since this year, Luoyang Float Glass Group made use of the national policy of supporting high-end glass products industries, actively marched Ultra-thin, ultra-white, photoelectric products areas. Luoyang Float Glass Group has become the leading enterprise in China glass industry.
