Blue Star Glass Off-line Low-E coated glass production line is officially put into operation

At the morning of January 13, Weihai Blue Star Glass Co., Ltd. -off-line Low-E coated glass production line is officially put into operation in Industrial District. This action made the company reduce 35% of energy consumption. It is an important measure for Blue Star to eliminate backward production capacity, implement differentiation strategy, achieve industrial upgrading, which marked that two business park relocation have been finished since 2003.

In 2009, Blue Star used the chance when they stop production to move to a new location, to invest 200 million yuan to introduce international advanced technology and equipment and set up a 5 million ㎡ off-line Low-E coated glass production line. The products have good quality.

The production line started in the early of June, 2009. On December 1, 2009, the production line was finished and successfully produced glass for one time. After the products go to the market, the company will reduce 67.65 thousand tons of standard coal every year.
