Finland backs energy campaignGroup Automotive plants in Finland took part in the country's annual Energy Saving Week in late 2009.
The event is aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues in order to encourage people to reduce energy use. The plants posted publicity material on the notice boards, distributed information packs and staged employee competitions with small prizes for all participants and a trip to the Tampere Energy Plant and the Rusko Water Treatment Station in January for the winners.
