Hebei Province: the first national PV high-tech industrial base settled in Xingtai

Hebei Province's first national PV high-tech industrial base approved by the National Science and Technology began to operation in  High-tech Industrial Development Zone, in Xingtai City.

The base planned to use 25 square kilometers as new energy industry base, including production, R&D, business and other eight function areas. At present, the industrial base has attracted Jinglong Group, Hebei Bomei, Shenzhen Qingfeng and other 16 new high-tech photovoltaic energy projects. The total investment is 10.5 billion yuan. After all the projects are finished, they will create 9.84 billion yuan output, profit tax 1.7 billion yuan.

Xingtai city has obvious advantages of resources to develop PV new energy industry and developed a complete industry chain. Jinglong Group is the largest solar energy monocrystalline silicon production enterprise in the world. Ultra-white glass and thin-film solar conductive glass developed and produced by Jingniu Group and Yingxin Group bring huge potential for developing photovoltaic glass, condenser system energy flow equalization device and silicon-based thin-film solar energy industry.

According to the plan, the base is trying to use three to five years to introduce and cultivate 50 well-known enterprises at home and abroad. At last, the base will become a high-tech industrial PV base  with a certain well-known at home and abroad.
