National key laboratory of float glass's new technology starts

On the morning of Mar.28, in China Glass New Materials Science and Technology Industrial Park, National key laboratory of float glass's new technology made by China Building Materials Group Co., Ltd. and Bengbu Glass Industry Design & Research Institute started to construction.

The second phase of CAS solar glass production line laid a foundation. Bengbu National Glass new material high-tech industry base was unveiled. Vice-governor, Huang Haisong, Chairman of China National Building Material Group Corporation and Party secretary, Song Zhiping took part in this meeting.

National key laboratory of float glass's new technology is a major scientific and technological innovation platform improved by the government and established by Bengbu Glass Industry Design & Research Institute. The total investment will be 50 million yuan.

The laboratory mainly research float glass energy saving environmental mitigation technologies, new technology of float glass, on-line o glass coating technology and special float glass.
