CAS: Hainan CAS Special Glass planed to establish the first Air Glass Production Line in China

Recently, Hainan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and Hainan CAS Special Glass signed a contract "Joint inspection working agreement". In order to speed up the development of specialty glass industry in Hainan, they drew up six support measures especially for the special glass industry.

1. Both sides organized import inspection term, to deal with the import & export equipments and export inspection work. 2. Simplify the import equipment inspection measure. 3. Centralized reporting, batch verification, batch test, batch issuance of certificates to make sure the imported equipments can be installed in time. 4. Provide pre-shipment inspection services. 5. According to common test methods, testing the project's imported equipments. 6. In accordance with relevant provisions, charge half of the inspection fees, effectively reducing the burden on enterprises.

Hainan CAS Special Glass Co., Ltd was settled in Hainan in April, 2009. In the end of 2009, the company successfully merged Fuyao float glass plant in Hainan. The company planned to invest 2.5 billion to transform the present two production lines and introduced two advanced technologies from PPG to build up a Oxy-Fuel-line LOW-E coating production line. The two old productions will be put into production again in the end of 2010. The new production line will begin to operate in June of 2011.

At present, the company has signed a contact with Germany DTEC to introduce advanced design, project and technology, building up the first air glass production line in China. The project will effectively promote the new industrial products in Hainan expand exports.
