The First Slot Type Solar Power Thermal Generation Project Opened

(China Glass Network) On 10^th Aug, 2010 China Solar Thermal Power Industry Forum- Beijing Zhonghang Airport General Equipment Co.,Ltd was held in Yuanling Town. This is the first slot type solar thermal generation program in China.

It is reported that solar thermal generation is a type of new source of our country which is low energy consumption, low emission, clean, non pollution and low-cost. At the beginning of this year, slot type solar thermal generation system technology was successfully developed by Beijing Zhonghang Airport General Equipment Co.,Ltd and Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and North China Electric Power University. The total investment is 878,000,000 Yuan, combined of three period projects; the first period cost 350,000,000 Yuan, which can make a capacity of 2 billion Yuan. After the three period projects, the total revenue will be reached above 10 billion Yuan.  Meanwhile, it could promote related industries to make a 2 billion Yuan revenue per year.

In the forum, the experts, specialists and scholars had splendid lectures about of the development, future, and how to take use of new resources of solar thermal generation.

The project broke through three main technology, optical collector, track drive, line focus tube; and China became the fourth country which has home-made technology following USA, German, and Israel.
