Hebei Glass Industry Increasing Ranked the First in China

(China Glass Network) The newest data from Hebei Building Industry Association showed that, we achieved industry revenue of 59.5 billion Yuan in building materials from January to June, increased by 29.4%. We achieved industry value of 16.4 billion Yuan, increased by 20.4%. Among of these, glass output is 6540 weight box, increased by 36.5% and ranking the first in China followed by Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Shandong. .

Analysis on flat glass fluctuating

In the first half of this year, our province glass output and sales increased highly. Although it came down in the second quarter, glass price was higher than last year. In June, our float glass price is 92 Yuan per Weight box. Glass industry business is better than last year.

Raw material has risen and enterprises had much pressure of cost.

In the first half of this year, the building raw material rose. The price of coal was 625 Yuan per ton, which was higher than last year. Coal tar’s price was 2290 Yuan per ton, comparing with 540 of last year. Soda ash’s price was 1140 Yuan than last year(40 Yuan per ton). In hence the cost would be risen with the raw materials.

There will be a little fall in the second half of this year.

Due to the unstable elements of real estate industry, there will be a little fall in the second half of this year. From the whole year, our provincial building materials industry would keep an increasing step. It is predicted that the whole year’s output and additional value will be 15%.
