LOW-E Glass
Description
On-line Low-E glass is an online new paralytic multi-layer coated glass produced by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process, which is capable of preventing the
far infrared heat from passing through the coated glass. It has a high transparency of near infrared and visible
light and thus creates no light pollution. It is the first choice for glazing and curtain walls in cold climate. It is also
suitable for refrigeration display or icebox applications as well as high class buss and trains.

2. High solar radiation transmittance, shading coefficient (SC) >0.5
3. High reflectivity to far and medium infrared ray with low U value keeps heat radiation from passing through the glass
Main Function and Adavantages
1. Low-E glass is able to reflect far infrared heat energy. Similar to normally coated glass, it allows
visible light to pass through, as well as having a low outward reflection value..
2. If it is used as insulating glass, it can help reduce air conditioning expenses in summer and
heating costs in winter. The visible light of the insulated products made by LOW-E glass can
pass through effecyively ,more than 80% of the infrared ray is reflected by film system.
3. Low-E glass can only be made into combined products and has good soundproofing
performance. Higher visible transmittance with fine nature light effects. Lower shading
coefficient with keeping the solar radiation from going through the glass(especially for near
infrared ray).

Application scope:

2 .Low-e series coated glass has good thermal properties and can be processed, e.g. tempered, laminated, bent. No coating
glass can be removed and no treatments need to be done in the fabrication of IGU.
3. Low-E glass can be stored in the same way as the regular glass.
