Tempered glass is four to five times stronger than standard glass and does not break into sharp shards when it broken.

2.Advantages:

1. 4-5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness.

2. Stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or heat strengthened glass.

3. If breakage occurs the glass breaks up into small, cubical fragments, which are not threatening to humans.

4. It withstands abrupt temperature change of 220 Centigrade.

5. Sizes are produced as per customer request. Once tempered, it can not be cut down.
