1. Category:

According to Chinese standard, Fire-rated glass can be divided into two types: Heat-insulation fire-rated glass (Type A-Compound Type), Non-heat-insulation fire-rated glass (Type C-Single sheet cesium potassium fire-rated glass).

2. Processing method:

Single sheet cesium potassium fire-rated glass is a single is made by a special chemical treatment. Under a high temperature over 20 hours to make ion exchange, the metallic sodium on glass surface is replaced. Thus it becomes silicate glass with low expansion, which the dilatation coefficient is 1.8*10-6/0F (3.24*10-6/K). Therefore, the glass has good performance on heat resistance. Also after the physical treatment, strong compressive stress is formed on glass surface, greatly enhancing the shock resistance of the glass. When glass crushed, it will be small particles and reduce harm to human body.

3. Thickness & Enduring fire limit time:

Type C: The thickness covers: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 19mm.

Enduring fire limit time could be 30 mins, 60mins and 90mins.

4. Color:

The color is up to customer’s requirement. All the colors of float glass are workable.
