6mm toughened glass for construction usage

Yujing Toughened Glass is made by heating ordinary glass to its softening point and then cooling down to form compression in the surface layer of the glass. It could be five times more resistant to breakage than normal glass.

Toughened degree test (crushing test)

With a small cone, hit glass into broken (the acting point C is 20mm far from side ege). Except for the area A and B ( area A is outside the circle in centre of acting point with 160mm diameter; area B is 25mm far from glass), the max broken piece should be control within 40-120 particles (account in small area 50X50mm), the min broken piece should be less than 120 particles (account in small area 50X50cm). Above broken piece is accounted ten minutes after glass hit into broken.

Impact resistance test

The glass is supported by horizontal holder, glass base is supported by rubber width 15mm & hardness A50. One steel ball (weight 227±2g）fall through diameter 38mm tube onto glass surface from 1000mm high. The glass should be no broken.
