Heat strengthened glass

Heat-strengthened glass refers to glass that is produced in a process similar to that for tempered glass, except that the cooling process is slower. Nickel Sulfide (NiS) induced fracture reduces for heat strengthen glass as the slow cooling allows NiS particles to return back to their stable state. Heat-strengthened glass combined with a laminated safety glass achieves safety properties.
