Single Curved Tempered Glass

Bending (curved) tempered glass is produced by heating float glass to soften, bending the glass into desired shape with self-weight or external extrusion pressure and cooling down through the uniform and rapid cooling method.

1. High strength

The curved tempered glass is produced in the same way as the normal tempered glass, that is, by heating and rapid cooling the glass to produce a compressive stress to enhance the strength of the glass. So the curved tempered glass has the same strength as the tempered glass. Moreover, its special shape gives it a much better wind load resistance than normal glass.

2. Safety

Same as the tempered glass, when broken, the glass debris will form honeycomb broken particles, reducing risk of hurting people.

3. Heat shock resistance
Curved tempered glass has an enhanced heat shock resistance. In a sudden temperature change of 220 鈩?nbsp;~ 250 鈩?nbsp;range, it is able to remain intact after the heat shock.
