Low-E Glass (Low Emissivity Glass)：

It is a product with multiple layers of metal, alloy or metal oxide coated on glass surface by magnetron sputtering method. In general the energy of sunlight, infrared heat holds about 51.2%, visible light occupies about 46.8% of the heat, ultraviolet and other rays occupy about 2%。Low-E glass has a highly reflection to infrared (especially the far-infrared) and ultraviolet light then can block the energy of sunlight and insulate the indoor heat to reduce the air conditioner energy consumption, while in the visible region of 380nm ~ 760nm the glass barrier rate is very small so can keep a good transmittance.

By different layer structure, the Low-E glass can be classified as Single-silver, Single-silver temperable, Double-silver and Double-silver temperable glass.
