Frosted Tempered/ Toughened Laminated Glass is made by use two pieces of frosted tempered glass and adhesive interlayer, the tow pieces of glass are bond together with advanced technology. After a PVB interlayer has been placed between the glass sheets, the whole assembly is subjected to heat and pressure. Frosted glass also called acid etched glass, it is one kind of Frosted Glass which is a chemical glass-etching process. Glass is etched with an aqueous solution of hydrofluoric acid, which attack the silica and roughens the glass surfaces. Finally, the whole glass panel is opaque, non-transparent, to enhance the privacy of room inside.

Features of Frosted Toughened Laminated Glass

1. Extremely high safety: The PVB laminated glass withstands penetration from impact. Even if the glass cracks, splinters will adhere to the interlayer and not scatter.
2. Acid etched and frosted glass are all translucent glass that can obscure visibility, but still allow diffuse light to filter through.

3. Frosted glass has more smoother appearance and the acid-etching process can leave a permanent design which will not peel,chip or wear down over time, acid etched glass is also less prone to fingerprints than sandblasted glass.
4. Frosted toughened glass has feature of privacy protection, can be used for window, door, bathroom, railing, partition wall etc.
