  Fused zirconium corundum brick, formerly commonly known as white iron brick. Due to the different content of zirconia, it is customary to refer to the percentage of ZrO2 as # for short.

There are three common abbreviations of fused zirconia corundum brick in China, namely AZS, ZAS and ZAC.

Fused zirconium corundum brick, also known as AZS fused zirconium corundum brick, is abbreviated as AZS, which is arranged according to the three chemical components of Al2O3-Zr02-Sio2 ternary system phase diagram, according to their content. Al2O3 takes A, Zr02 takes Z, and SiO2 takes S. National standards adopt this abbreviation, such as No.33 fused zirconium corundum brick, abbreviated as AZS-33 #, and No.36 fused zirconium corundum brick, abbreviated as.

  Manufacturing process:

  Manufacturing process of electric cast brick: The fused cast brick containing 33% Zr02 can be made by mixing carefully selected zircon sand and industrial alumina powder in a ratio of 1:1, adding a small amount of Na2O (added in the form of sodium carbonate) and B20: (added in the form of boric acid or borax), mixing them evenly, melting at 1800~1900℃ and casting. On this basis, fused-cast bricks containing 236% ~ 41% ZrO can be made by using partially desilicated zircon sand as raw material. Zirconia-eorundum brick is a refractory product with 33%~45% ZrO2 content, which uses industrial alumina powder and selected zircon sand as raw materials. Mainly used in glass industry tank kiln.
